Fishermen of Catan is an official scenario for The Settlers of Catan available in Catan: Traders & Barbarians. It was originally released by Kosmos in the March 2005 issue of Spielbox. In 2006, 999 Games released it as a promotional bonus to people who purchased all six of the Six Scenarios. Mayfair Games translated it and distributed it initially via the Spring 2007 edition of Games Quarterly Magazine (Issue 12). Kosmos added it into the Traders & Barbarians expansion which was then translated by Mayfair Games and distributed in the United States and United Kingdom in English as part of the expansion.

Catan storyline Edit

For generations, the people of Catan have lived in an island paradise, surrounded by the peaceful sea. They have long known of the benefits of the sea: maritime trade has been crucial to their expansion since the beginning. But recently they have discovered that the sea holds other bounty, ready to be gathered and used in the never-ending quest for expansion and trade.
